The OLÉ Story
Great food has the power to draw people together in a way that very few things can.
As a company, Ole Mexican Foods has been driven to provide authentic Mexican Inspired foods for generations to come. The company’s founder, Veronica Moreno, began making and selling authentic tortillas in Atlanta, Georgia, in 1988. She used traditional ingredients and techniques passed down to her through generations from her native Mexico. Veronica, as well as her family and her staff, have never lost sight of the importance of creating great foods that bring families together at the table.
To help promote their authentic products, Ole Mexican Foods recently rolled into mass merchant retailer Walmart with this La Banderita van merchandiser. Shoppable from four sides, the display offered several SKU’s of their flour taco shells using four hutch displays and compartments on both ends of the display.
The back of the van boasted a graphic panel that encouraged shoppers to follow the Lucha Libre express to the olemex.com website where they could link to labanderita.tv to get lots of recipes and tips.
For those who don’t know Lucha Libre, meaning “free fighting,” is a style of professional wrestling originating in Mexico, known for its colorful masks, acrobatic moves, and elaborate storylines. It’s a significant part of Mexican culture, often described as a blend of athleticism, entertainment, and storytelling.
The graphic execution on this display is fun and colorful, loaded with lots of details that support the company’s heritage and in-store marketing initiatives.
