Guinness, in its 266th year of brewing, is ramping up in-store promotions for their biggest day of the year, St. Patrick’s Day. With its rising popularity, pubs across the globe will be serving more Guinness pints than any other day of the year.
“People are finding this beer for the first time, or, in some cases, rediscovering it,” said Ryan Wagner, Guinness National Ambassador. “You’re not just finding it in Irish pubs. Now it’s in sports bars, at the beach, in coolers being taken to tailgates.”
Splitting the G – Started on social media, celebrities and TikTokers film themselves attempting to swig enough of the dark beer on their first sip that leaves the line between the black Guinness and the white foam at the halfway point of the “G” in the Guinness logo on the glass.
“‘Splitting the G’ has become a viral sensation, what we love most about it is introducing Guinness Draught Stout to an entirely new demographic,” Guinness National Ambassador Ryan Wagner said.
Guinness was recently spotted ramping up for the holiday with this pub-themed stacker display. The display greeted shoppers with its warm and inviting design that included an authentic looking pub reminiscent of the public houses found in Ireland. Two standalone harps corralled several 12 packs of the delicious stout………….another harp was perched above the pub roof for good measure.
Bottoms Up!
